Goodyear Assurance Wiper Blades

Goodyear Assurance Wiper Blades
If you need new blades, I suggest you hit up Costco and pick these up. They are way better than my Valeo's and dramatically less noisy. The best part, is that they're only 8 bucks. I've seen these online for 12-15 bucks, plus shipping. I picked up a set for the G and the Altima. I also picked up an extra set for each car for next year'

I'm still not sold on the single hinge point design for our cars. I think our windshields have a little too much curve in them, which causes the outer inch or so of the driver's blade to float above the glass, so it's like having a blade that's too short. The passenger side is even worse. They just don't have enough strength (?) to bend that last little bit down to the glass. I tried some of these last winter (this style, but not Goodyears, maybe ANCO or Rain-X) and was very disappointed. They weren't cheap ones either, but I just stuck with the multi-hinge design this winter and had a larger viewing area. YMMV.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Bill,
I have been using the Bosch Icons since I bought my car last year and have nothing but great things to say about them. They wipe the windshield evenly and completely across the range of the blade. There are no light spots or areas that are missed. I've put 20,000 miles on my car, a lot of them in the brutal Texas heat, and they are just now showing some wear. Not enough to affect my inspection though, passed with flying colors. I will definitely buy these again when I need replacements.
Bonus, they look really cool!

Thanks, I'll check out the Bosch's next winter. It's looking like an early spring here, unlike last year, so I should be good with the multi-hingers through the summer. I'd prefer the single hinge style since they don't get all gunked up with snow and ice, but I was reluctant to drop another $35-$40 on something else that didn't work.

For that price it still doesn't matter. Honestly you're either using it when its raining (which you wont hear the whipers anyhow) or you're using it to clean the windshield and thats all of 2-3 swipes

anyone notice that these wiper's connectors are higher/taller than the OEM? meaning it seems like the wiper arms are raise a bit more than stock stance..
Also.. the correct size for the G35 SEDAN (03-06) passenger is 18" not 19" like the book @ costco suggests (goodyear website also)..
great blades/price.. but it sits a little high and it doesn't have a cover for the connection area.. (looks messy)

There was a reason for the noise. I didnt have them clipped on all the way. Now they work great.
As for the cover for the clip.. It's 8 bucks, but if you throw asthetics aside. These wipers work way better than Valeo's and cheaper too. I can't compare them to Icons' but I bet they are just as good, if not better.
