Washed my car and went nuts!

So it starts out me just wanting to wash my car. I whip out my Microfiber mits and my Mothers California Gold soap and began. I went nuts after that. I ended up clay baring the entire car with Mothers California Gold Clay Bar kit. The car is like GLASS. Next, I used microfiber towels and worked Meguires Swirl Remover into the paint. Next I compounded certain areas to remove the remaining bugs and after this, I waxed the entire car with carnuba wax.

I didn't stop at that! I waxed the wheels also. I used meguires leather wipes on the seats, vinyl-x on the entire interior, the engine compartment, and even the little plastic pieces where the side mirrors on the doors are. I used goo-gone on the lights and waxed them. I used windex on all of the windows and waxed them after. I vacumed the entire car after this and I must say. My car, looks amazing. It looks soo good that I'm very depressed. My Microdrive died on me and I had to send it back to NewEgg which means that I couldn't take pictures with my digital Camera. It's still sitting in the garage so next weekend after I wax it again I will take photos and post them here. I recommend everyone try this. My black car looks soo shiny it's insane.

Last night I took it to NYC in the meat-packing district. I went to a few places, Vento, Level | V, and The Ganesvort (anyone familiar?) After coming out of Level | V there were 4 people looking at my car; crowded around it. They were amazed with the shine. It's a pure gueedo shine. It's nuts. I probably should not park the G on the street but it was a nice night. If anyone knows the area, it's so packed with people that it's safe to park. Especially when there was a Yellow Lamborghini 3 cars down. I think a criminal would steal that one first. hehe... I know I would.

Re: Washed my car and went nuts!

I just did this today on my GF's mini cooper althought I skipped the interior stuff. I just worked on the wheels, paint, decals, lights, and the plastic near the bumper. The car looks great. She dosen't really take care of it. I'm glad I got to it when I did... the stripes were yellow. It's red with "white" racing stripes on the hood. They were yellow. I had to compound the dirt out of them... ins't that insane? SAY IT'S INSANE DAMNIT!

What's insane is using carnuba-based wax
