touhc-up paint gone bad

So I lightly scratched my car (about 2 inches). I mistakenly thought to use my touch-up paint rather than scratch-X. the paint dried, and now looks worse.

is there a quick and easy way to fix this?

thanks!

Prepsol dissolves most touch-up paint. It's a chemical most body shops have on hand. Not sure if you can buy it at a store.

Post some pics. And always try a rubbing compound first for surface scratches.

I would get masking tape and tape around the touch-up area.

Then wet sand the area in-between the masking tape.

After you get rid of most of it, you can probably just buff it out to blend it all back in.

thanks for the help ya'll.

I used a sand-paper block (one of those soft ones from home depot), and buffed it out, then applied scratch-x.

I'll give her a good waxing this weekend.
