scratches on my guage cover

I've got scratches on the plastic cover that shields the speedometer, tach, fuel level, etc guages. It's not like there's 1 or 2 actual scratches, more like somebody rubbed a brillo pad over the plastic - it's like a haze that makes the guages look a little blurry. At first, I thought that maybe a rag with wax or some sort of polymer was rubbed over the plastic, but I seem to be unable to remove it. Anybody have any suggestions on how I can clean this off / polish it off?

plastx by meguiars. you can get it at GI Joes or come over and borrow some of mine. It's also good for the haze on the headlights too.

Thanks Al! You're always Johnny on the spot with the solutions. Thanks for the offer, but I suppose this is something I ought to have in my personal arsenal.

I'd still like to figure out how it got so scratched up - I blame Beaverton Infiniti.

No sweat. Just be patient with it because it doesn't have a lot of cutting power for obvious reasons.

Re: scratches on my guage cover

I only wipe mine with a microfiber towel to prevent scratches. I also sometimes use a spray cleaner/wax/polish called Brillianize.
