Hey I was just wondering what I have to do to get the wrinkles in the leather seat out.. there on the sides.. do i use a leather conditioner? if so what kind? any help would be appreciated!

 

I don't know if it's possible to take out wrinkles in leather seats as the wrinkled form of leather is the natural state.

I had the same question... especially on the passengers side, the outer part on the bottom gets squished whenever people sit in the car and it stays wrinkled. I found the best remedy is to make all of my passengers sit in the back )

Unfortunately, this is the nature of leather and cannot be "fixed". You could, however, reduce the amount of wear on it by having it cleaned and conditioned once a month or so. To prevent the leather from cracking, it would be a good idea to get your windows tinted as UV rays dry up the surface, which could lead to premature wear........that's why I have even my windshield tinted!

LoL thats funny Jericho. I noticed too that my passenger seat on the outer part gets wrinkles too as well my driver's seat feels like its collapsing on the left part...

That's about as good of a logic as me saying instead of dropping the car, just to have a bunch of "BIG BONED" friends sit in my car instead... [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

As for the wrinkles... not much you can do about it. Like Wil said before, you can reduce the wear and tear by cleaning/conditioning the leather on a regular basis... Get some good leather conditioner... [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

my driver side seat is getting wrinkled too on the outer part.
too much squishing in there to install stuff, but my leather is pretty much protected from UV with tints and reflectors and Lexol. =D

 

another thing that is helpful is make sure you sit directly on the center of the seat and not on the bottom side cushions that will make it wrinkle faster

 

What's the best leather conditioner to apply to this leather? I've had my car for 5 months now and would like to put it on there now. What's the proper procedure for this?

Reduce the size of your ***..LOL

 

I find that it only happens on the passengers seat. I thought for a while that the seats were possibly shaped differently but it is clear to me now that I am just a better sitter than my passengers.
