Compounding non-clear coated cars...

Anyone have any experience compounding a car that doesnt have clear coat? Ive done alot with clear, but this next one is a 91 MX5 and Ive read that it doesnt have a clearcoat.

I am planning to start with a cleaner after the claybar, and if that doesnt do it maybe the 205 compound with a mild pad on the porter cable. Kinda nervous so if anyone has any experience with non-clear please leave your tips! Thanks!

Just use a fine compound and your buffer and make sure you're using the correct cleaning pad. You can buff 6 directions until it disappears
and you're left with a great shine. Wipe it down and apply a good coat of quality wax so the shine will remain. Todays waxes and micro rags make the work and results easier....have fun and enjoy!
