Dammed eastcoast tree sap

moved from san diego to va bch va and in one wk have mass tree sap on paint that has left stains after hard washing. Any right coast sugestions to remove would be cool. Oh, any car cover options and best advice too. thanks my brothers

wow i heard tree saps are hard to remove after they dry up like glue. try compounding?
