I Have a '04 auto coupe and I was driving around one night and one of my friends spilled soda on the shifter. Now it dried and is really sticky and it's hard to change the gears from park to reverse or to anything else. How can I pull that cover up so that I can clean all in there? I know on other cars you can just pull it up and it comes out but I'm afraid to damage my car.
