Help! Spots on Wheels!

I have tried everything to get these spots off of the wheels and nothing has worked. If you guys have any ideas of what could possibly get the spots off that would be great. I've tried wheel cleaner, paint cleaner, aluminum cleaner, everything. All help is appreciated.

Looks like either u or someone used some type of cleaner that aye thru the graphite paint to the base coat which is black. I don't think those are spots. It's the black basecoat under the graphite color paint. Happened to me once when a detail shop sprayed some kind of acid on my wheels. They paid for new ones..

Unfortunately you're stuck OP. Alf is right, something has eaten through the clear and the paint and etched those discolorations on your rims. You will not be able to remove it. Your options are get the wheels refinished, get new wheels, or deal with the current rims as is. Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news.

Sorry to say B/Ds right....^....again! You could find a wheel repair company in your area and have them refinished or what I'd do is to have them powder coated which will make them close to indestructible unless you hit a curb....

I think I'm going to find a local place to get them refinished. Thanks for all of the advice.

try EASY-OFF heavy duty. Ive used them on my old rays plenty of times, they take off about everything, and it didnt damage anything.

I would just air craft strip the entire wheel. That would remove the clear coat and just polish it by hand. It will look like new but you will not have a clear coat anymore. So either keep them like that or clear it yourself.

Kind of looks like when I used a wheel cleaner on a friends car that had aluminum wheels... the cleaner didn't like the aluminum and spotted it up like that.

If those are clear coated wheels, then I'm not sure what to tell you. But if they are aluminum wheels, then you can get metal polish and go to town on it to remove the spots, but it is very labor intensive.
