You're absolutely right. The true test will be when something on the car is actually painted.
I am waiting for my oil change to paint that stuff :P, I have to remove the under body panel for both of them so might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.

i used paintscratch i believe before on my prelude. one can was sufficient. i got at least 4-5 coats (light) and the lip turned out great. just remember to use the appropriate primer for your car when you plan to paint. prep makes a world of difference.
