Protecting the Middle Conole area

Hi,
Ive seen from a lot of posts that the middle silverish consle area and dash can get easily damaged and once it is, its tough to fix it. I was wondering, just like people put clear bra on their car to protect the paint, can you put the same stuff on that dash area. Has anybody done this? Is it even possible? Does it still look as clean, or is it noticable? I am gonna get clear bra for my car probably, and i wanted to just ask them to put it on the console area as well. Let me know if you guys have any info on it.
Thanks

I do believe that a member here has done a clear bra install on the center console. Try doing a search in this forum for the past thread [it was an old one, probably about 3 months ago].

Yup, that was me....
I've had many compliments on the look.

It works great. My dealership has been talking to their clear bra installer to offer this as an option.
