Rain-X Removal Problems

Guys I have a problem... Apparently RainX gets old. I had a bottle sititng in my garage for about 2 yrs of Chicago summers and winters. I put some on my G and now no matter when i wash the car. I always get white streaks everywhere. Does anyone one know something that can permanently get this crap off?

Go to the supermarket and pick up some BON AMI. Comes in a cardboard tube like old school AJAX. Be sure to only get it on the windshield. Wet the windshield, sproinkle BON AMI powder on it (don't need to much) and use a coarse sponge (like those bug remover sponges) to scrub the windshield. Becareful rinsing not to get it on the paint. If it gets on there, hose it off, DO NOT WIPE!!! It is abrasive! That should work. Also check with WIL cuz he has pretty much sen it all!

I would imagine a strong ammonia based product would work to! Did you try Stoners Invisble Glass first?

Why I have used it on my truck. Wet the windshield, sprinkle a little bit on the windshield and scrub away. This of it this way, even if u accidently get some on the paint, just use water to rinse it off. It wont be any more harmful then dirt that gets on the car.

Or you can possibly try Dawn dishwashing detergent!! Out a few drops in a spray bottle, shake it up a bit, hose windshield with regular water, spray solution on windshield only and thoroughly rinse off!
