Re: Silver tints!!!!

reflective tint doesnt match with a black car.....i suggest 35% regular charcoal tint all around (except your windshield of course.. haha)
that will look sexy

Yes, silver tints look very cheap and tacky.

I agree with RR, however, I would suggest 30% on the rear windshield, a little extra protection on for the rear seat leather under that large piece of glass. Also, get a high quality metallic tint... no dye.

Re: Silver tints!!!!

what about on the brilliant silver? i'm debating whether or not to get 15% metallic on front windows, back windows, and rear window.

Re: Silver tints!!!!

the best looking tint on a black car is cheap dyed limo tint. Unofrtunately, it doesn't have heat rejection properties of the metallized films. The good part is that dyed limo tint (5%) is truly black; there is no reflectivity to it. It really looks good on a black!!! The other thing is that it will start to fade after about 3 years. Oh well, but it is still cheaper than metallized tints.
My opinion is coming from having 4 black cars. I have tried metallized and limo on these cars. the limo truly looks the best.

Re: Silver tints!!!!

I think that tints would look nice. I think that 35% charcol would be really cool. 5% and mirror tints look too ricer. Mirror tints are especially stupid. I have a tan interior, so I might tint them either 35% or not at all. The cars outside looks good the way it is. Work on the parts under the hood so you can smoke some Corvettes and Vipers. Also, whatever you do, I recommend not getting chrome rims. For this car, it is like a Japaneese import and the Japaneese would never put chrome rims on their race cars. Alloy looks so cool. I recommed chrome wheels on a Mercedes Benz or a Bently or something of that nature. Any German car is cool.
Sorry Had to get that off my chest

Re: Silver tints!!!!

I am not a fan of the bling bling chrome rims either. But I don't knock 'em because there are so many folks out there who do.

To each his own.
