nice job man! I bought the Turtle Wax headlight restorer and did my gf's car...made a helluva difference!

you're welcome. One thing I will note, it's easy to spend a lot of time on the parts of the headlight away from the edge, but you need to spend as much time along the edge, as well, or you get this hazy look that's left near the panels and bumper... just a reminder

I just did this same procedure today...looked great. I'll attach a few pics, but it was simple and quick. I spent like 15 mins per headlight - that all it took. I used the same products/buffer pad as above and high speed cordless drill.

Only rec. I would give, is when using the "PlastX" restoring compound (it reminds me of rubbing compound) - keep it lubed up and really wet. A few times I was working with it, and let it get slightly dried out while buffing, and it was actually getting worse, but easily improved once putting more restoring goo on and using the drill pad for another second on that spot.

Results = AMAZING!!

i did this and my headlight became dull again. do you guys keep doing this after it got dull or what do you? i am thinking of getting the clear overlay. but i heard it might crack our headlight lenses.

been there done this but how do you keep it from happening again ? Third time gets old doing this over and over !!!!!!!

I dont mean to hijack your thread but i did this and i had to redo this process like 3-4 times a year! i finally did something else and it has been holding up really good!!
