How to remove this from black paint?

I recently purchased a 2004 infinty g35 coupe. It is in great shape except for this scuff. no dent, just a scuff. Looks like a car door opened and got the pain. May 2 inches wide (maybe 1) and 3 inches tall. I was giong to get a buffer and some polishes and sealers from detailedimage.com. Mcguire 201 and 101 polishes i think they are. Is there a black wax/sealer that can cover this up without painting the door?

You can buff out some of it, especially if some is silver paint transfer. However, the deepest stuff that won't buff out will require touch-up paint which isn't much at all, no real re-painting needed

I just had the thread about someone pouring whiskey on my car. And it wouldn't come out at all with "elbow grease" and anything I had. But once me & my buddy busted out the Buffing pad with his power drill it came out in about 30 minutes. Just make sure you have someone who knows what they're doing with the drill. That would be my best guess for you

my friend also drives a black car & i remember he bought an entire waxing kit for black cars. I think it's called "black magic" or something like that. That may also be worth a shot

Yep, the touch-up part is right. You'll need to leave it for a day or two before you polish it. Picus explains it the best: https://g35driver.com/forums/care-de...polishing.html

For the transfer, maybe it's better to show you in pictures. Here's a Range Rover I worked on, unknown reason for the damage. Polished it out, no touch-up or wetsanding, and here's the results. BTW the after is before final polishing, after compunding.

I use the "Black Box" by Turtle.. I think. It is made for black paint and hides all of my little white scratches. I don't know if it will hide that though. It's like twenty bucks for the four bottle kit tho.
