Car egged. Question?
I am quite pissed off right now. Some kids this morning were playing with some eggs. From the story they tell me is that one kid was hiding behind my car and the other threw an egg at him. He threw it from about 50 ft. away. Needless to say he hit my beautiful Black G35 on the drivers side outside pillar. It left an egg size star pattern scuff on my car. I tried buffing it and it wont come out. Other than painting it is there another option? Thanks in advance.

Re: Car egged. Question?
Egg does two types of damage to the paint.. The egg is acidic and will etch the clear coat. The Egg shell will scratch clear coat and may even scratch all the way to the paint. If its scratched, you need to get some rubbing compound(fine grit) and rub it out. If clear coat is etched, a swirl remover may remove it.

Some people say Infiniti's are for old people. I'm not going argue. I just step on my gas pedal.

Re: Car egged. Question?
Some kids egged an old roomates car once. We were actually right around the corner when it happened. I've never seen kids run that fast, especially since we just came back from paintballing and started shooting at them....
Anyway, yes, egg does some serious paint damage to the car. Hopefully you got it off soon enough. Zaino makes some great 'paint cleaner' that will strip off anything that isn't paint and the clearcoat. We used it on my friends car and it worked wonders.

Their 'wax' will also work great to cover up any impurities that might be left.
Good luck!!
