What advantage is there to applying liquid sealant or wax with a buffer other than having less manual labor?

A buffer is like having 3-5k little hands applying it faster and more evenly.

I did it once. It went on evenly, but...

It used way more product than I would normally use by hand.

I think it also introduce the possibility of adding blemishes. I've been sealing/waxing by hand for nearly 15 years, but always polish with machine. In the end do what you what you like best. There is no right or wrong with this.

It's quicker and maybe you get a little more uniform coverage. Not a huge difference at all.

Just more uniform coverage, if it has fillers it might get them into the swirls better to hide them more.

Yea I didn't think that there were any benefits other than less manual labor and more even coverage. Thanks for the input.
