I just had my headlight done by 180 customs and they look awesome but the lens on the outside appears to have some pitting (more noticeable now on a black background) Its not haze, just like areas where it looks not shiny and a bit bubbly what is they key to getting rid of this? polish? I don't want to wet sand!

Wetsand it. You can always polish it afterwards and it'll look just fine.. either that or you can try polishing it first to see if that'll work, but Idk... either or.

 

what should I do 2000 then 3000 then polish with a buffer? What polish should I use

 

If it's not that bad then 3000 should be fine. Just make sure that they're completely smooth after you've sanded them.

For polishing.. PlastiX usually does a good job. If that doesn't then you might need something more aggressive.. like maybe Meguiars M105 and then finish off with PlastiX.

If you're going to do this by hand then it's going to take ALOT of rubbing.
