I purchased it from detailed image months ago, but really started to use it recently to sand fiberglass. Randomly mid use today it just turned off. Tried another outlet, different cord, everything. Let it sit for an hour tried again. any ideas? I was thinking the internals are full of glass so its holding something back, but I'm not sure if its worth cracking it open.

 

just send it back to PC and get it fixed/replaced. There is a 1 year warranty. I have had 6 of them go out on me, the brushes go bad, the chords go bad,...i finally just got the griots DA instead....more power, less vibrations!!!

 

I opened it up blew air all in it and then pulled off the pad and it worked . Looks like I got lucky.
