This is a dumb question, BUT, how do u avoid rock chips on the hood?
Patrick - the film you saw on that Z likely had fading issues. It's a shame you saw a poor film on a nice car, which turned you away from a clearbra. I can tell you there are films and installers that can perform a nice install unlike that Z you saw.
As for detailers in socal......sorry, but I don't know anyone in LA..........San Diego though, but that's pretty far from you.

If you're going on longer trips, use a regular bra.
I was thinking about just getting my front bumper with a clear bra.
I'm starting to see some chips, but I expect chips.
It is a car, and I am driving it on a road. If it ever gets bad enough you start touching them up like mizzoutiger

To me its really sad that my G with 4000 miles has more chips on the bumper and hood than my Jeep Overland with 30,000 miles. I have never even waxed my Jeep. It is a lease and the paint still looks great. My G has had 8 coats of Zaino on it from day one. The quality of paint on the G is weak. My last cars before that have been Acura's and there paint jobs puts Infiniti to shame
