i recently got a ticket too. removed the tints myself. pretty easy.

Is it same in cali that we can get away with the ticket if we have a prescription?

 

God damn it! I got busted second time by the same f. state trooper. I saw him parking on the side of the highway and I was nicely cruising pass him at 72mph. A minute after, he shows up on my side mirror and his light blinks seconds after. I had to exit at 50mph and did 3 partially drifting on the exit (car ran sideway). Thanks to my little experience of drifting, I made it out the exit in one piece. The ticket was $125 and he said that if he caught me again with the windows still tinted, I will get another ticket. Man, that dude is just picking on me and he recognized my car right away on the highway.

I believe this **** head will spot me again next month if I don't get the tint out. I am planing to do it over the weekend. Do you guys have any tips that I should know besides what have been discussed here like using black trash bag with hair dryer?

I will put aside how I turly feel about cops and state troopers, but unfortionally you live in a state where you can't have tint on none of your window so you will just have to obey there rules or come to cali. we cant have tint in the front but if you drive with the windows down during the day its cool. Not to metion crime rate is extremely high so most cops out here in LA usually have there hands full. You probably stay in a low populated area where the F**kn cops out there don't have shyt to do but to pick on cars driving by with colored tint windows. F**kn sad imo

Yeah, the cop insisted that I have to remove tint on all windows including the rear glass. But hey, why in the hell those SUVs and vans are running around trouble free with all super dark factory tinted windows except the front windows? If they can go with their rear windows tinted to like 5% then how couldn't I keep my tint on the rear windows? I'm really pissed at this point. I said *** the unfair traffic laws shiit.

 

just went to fight my tint ticket yesterday. changed my front 2 to the regular tint, showed them the receipt, they found me not responsible, was in n outof the court in less than 5 mins.

now if i really wanted, i could change em back to 15%, but i wont.

This applies to PA.
Look for something like this for your area. On a more than uncommon basis there are flaws that apply to the written laws.
