Help with Menzerna

Hi, just picked up a 2008 black sedan and gave it my favorite 2 step polish/wax which is Final Polish II followed by Natty's Blue plus I always claybar the car first. I do have intensive polish too but when I use it and I don't see any difference between the 2 polishes and when I use the IP I always use an orange pad plus when I use it it seems that I don't have to finish with Final Polish. There are some scratches that wont completely go away and you cant feel them in the paint, is there another product that would get these few scratches out...

Thanks

if you dont see a difference between IP and FPII, you are doing things wrong! IP is a medium polish with cutting ability, FPII is a final polish with almost no cut!

you working it by hand or by machine?

meguiars 105, meguiars D300 are to go to heavier compounds

Using porter cable, the products are over 5 years old. To avoid buying their whole line what 2 products would be best. Thanks

I highly recommend Meguiar's 105. It's useful for almost anything from headlights, taillights, exhaust to fiberglass on boats.

You could pick up the Menzerna Super Intensive Polish SI 1500 (PO83) and use that with an orange pad but I think you would be much better served with the Meguiar's Ultra-Cut Compound M105. Also if you want even more power pair the M105 with a Surbuf R Series MicroFingers Buffing Pads, they will really help you get some great polishing power. Check out this article to read more about it - http://www.detailedimage.com/Ask-a-P...-cable-7424xp/.
