Polished Timing chain cover+ road salt = Badness.
That about says it all... The staining is quite bad- and I'm wondering 2 things:
What's the easiest way to bring it back to par and what products can I use to protect it and prevent the corrosion in the future.
For example: What about THIS stuff? Online garbage or diamond in the rough?
Thanks boys.

Okay- if it's that easy!
I think it might be a bit deeper than that but I'll see how things work out. I also have these Excalibur abrasive kind of wool that I was wondering about. Supposed to be for rims- wonder if that will work? The tcc is just a bit of a deal because to get it done... Well. Suffice to say it ain't easy to get done. I'm hoping I can bring it back. I'll post some pics when i get home. Should be Wednesday!
