scraped bumper

thank goodness it isn't mine, but a friend scraped her rear bumper recently. She works over at Toyota and her Body & Tech guys suggested that it only needs a "spot repair" (which, unfortunately, they wouldn't do for obvious reasons).

Anybody have any suggestions on how to get that fixed, options other than a full on body shop. She didn't give me any details like how deep or long.

She's in the Torrance, CA area.

thx - T

If it's not too close to the next panel (18"s is the standard rule), then it could be airbrushed by a professional detailer and will blend right in..........or she could just have it entirely repainted.
