Just bought some Pinnacle Wax....

and to be honest i used to think you washed a car and wax was wax, blah blah blah all the same....some came in prettier bottles, and some even were foreign names (oooohh that will cost you an extra 10 bucks) but maybe i was wrong, actually definetly wrong, especially after spending an afternoon in here....

so i bought this pinnacle wax for 35 bucks at the local exotic car store, and i know i could probably have bought it for less online, but can anyone tell me how badly i got ripped off, and should i return it. Kid at the store was crazy about this stuff and promised that it was better than zaino...and was trying hard to sell me clay bar, which seemed unneccessary because based on what i was reading its only for older car with more crap on them....my G is a month old..thanks for any help!!

If it's the Pinnacle Souveran (liquid or paste) carnuba wax, the std. price should be $24.95. I use the Pinancle Liq. Souveran canuba wax on top of the Klasse All-In-One (AIO) synthetic wax...I love both of them, and each cost $24.95 from a local car detailing/specialty store here in S. Florida. Great synthetic/carnuba wax combo!!!! Check out www.properautocare.com for more info and good pricing.

pinnacle souveran paste wax retails for $70. You probably purchased the liquid souveran, signature series, or paste glaz which is cheaper. Pinnacle makes a great quality carnuaba wax but like with all waxes you need to reapply every month or so. The advantage of Zaino and other synthetic polymers (Klasse SG, Menzerna FMJ, Four Star UPP, Optimum, Poorboys EX-P)is that their durabilty beats any carnuaba wax.

To get durability and great shine, recommend using Klasse AIO first (6 mos protection) then carnuba monthly. Note, for black/red cars, use Pinnacle Souveran (caranuba) and P21S for all other color cars. Klasse and carnuba give you synthetic-natural synergy for "The Perfect Shine."
