Foggy window

Hi, I had my 2006 G35 Coupe washed at a local drive thru style car wash a couple of months agao and ever since then, I have noticed a fog or haze on my passenger window. My windows are tinted, btw. It covers almost the entire window but is not a solid fog or haze, it is splotchy with some streaks running through it. It looks like wax build up or something to me. The fog is much more prominent when light is shing directly on that window and when it does, the fogginess is so bad that it is difficult to see out of that window. I have tried cleaning the window several times, inside and out with no real results. I've had several car washes since then too and it's still foggy. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to correct this issue? I am worried that the tint is ruined but I hope that is not the case. Thanks!

Could be possible tint issue. But lesson learned, don't take your car through a car wash. I always hand wash my car so that I don't have problems with car washes, messing up paint, dragging scratches on it, or who knows what could happen!

Does it look like it is more on the inside or outside?

sounds like water has collected inside your door panel, resulting in condensation on the window.

BlackG35shine - Thank you, I really can't tell if it is on the outside or the inside of the window but I think it is on the outside. If so, that would probably not be an issue with the tint as the tint is on the inside of the window I believe.

Deepdiver - Thank you, I don't think it's condensation. The fogginess is always present and the window is dry. I have cleaned it several times since I first noticed it too...

When I first noticed it, I thought it was excess wax/wax build up but I can't seem to "clean" the wax off of the window.

Try cleaning it with 0000 steel wool, or ultra fine steel wool, works great on glass and chrome, doesn't scratch... Outside only, will scratch tint,
