Sorry for the scratch man. I got a scratch today at the mall. Im pretty pissed.

But unfortunately Zainos is not going to help you with your scratch. Depending how deep it is, you going ot have to use mild to heavy cutter cleaner with some type of polishing machine like a portalcable.. Then use a real mild one to get rid of the swirls that will be made from the cutters, then polish as usual.

Re: SCRATCHES where do I get Zaino

yah ... I got the zaino ... I got the Z5,Z2 and finishing spray.

The scratch is is into the clear but not past the paint.

So, like you say, I guess I gotta get some compound and scratch it up more ... BUT WHADDA I use to get rid of the compound scratches then to the polished look it once was?

ZAINO Z5? about 10- 15 times????

thanks

3M makes a really good rubbing compound safe for clear coat finishes. Comes in a black bottle if I remember. I think it even works well by hand, but of course a polisher will be faster. Follow up with their swirl remover and you're good to go!

yea, zaino wont his eit if you can feel it by dragging a fingernail across the scratch .. thats too deep for our stuff.

the 3m swirl remover #39009 is great - but also has its limits -
for $20 a bottle its worth trying - and is best with a random orbital polisher . . .

if you need some, let me know - i have lots . . .

Re: SCRATCHES where do I get Zaino

eh homer .... did you supply REV in markham with Zaino?

I checked out this stuff made by turtle wax .... I think it was called polishing compound in a white jar with green writing.
Similar to the rubbing compound, but for some reason I was under the impression it was not as harsh as the rubbing compound.

Have you heard of that stuff?

From your post, you obviously think the 3M swirl remover is good ...what do I follow that up with? ... the Z5 ?

eh .. why dont you post your number if you like or PM me?

later bro
