Yet another debadge fail...(pitting the clearcoat I believe) HELP!!
After debadging my c ar, the 'G35' came off easily and left no marks, but Mt. FUJI and 'INFINITI' left some marks. I tried rubbing alcohol, googone, swirl and scratch remover, and a fine-cut polish with a buffing wheel.
Nothing has done anything but make my trunk look really shiny. It appears that the outline which is left is made up of tiny pits in the clear coat. Is this normal?
Thanks! Also, FIRST POST. I recently bought this car. Previously owned one of those stupid mk4 VW's on bags and Mercedes monoblocks.
