How much would it cost to fix this scratch?

I came out of classes today and found this heartbreaking scratch on the front-right side of my car. It looks to have not gone through the metal at all places except for a bit at the frontmost part of the scratch. It doesn't look like anybody else hit me, but I'm in a bit of denial as to how I could of let something like this happen...

Anyways, I would greatly appreciate any information regarding potential cost or possible DIY solutions (though I'm skeptical for something this big). I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do beforehand, as I don't have all that much money right now. Thanks in advance!

No one here can answer that, it varies greatly. If you want to know, go to several body shops in your area and ask them for quotes.

The scratch is down to the bare plastic urethane.

It doesn't look to bad. Only 2 or so areas looks like its down to the urethane. You can buff out the rest and just apply touch up to the black area.

You can try to paint and blend that area or have the entire bumper repainted. Cost? Drop by a autobody shop and ask.

Thanks for the reply.

I went to the shop this morning and they said that it would take around $380 to fix it. It's my first time dealing with this sort of thing so I was a little surprised.

Would you say that buffing by hand is impossible for this?

My mom received a similar scratch like this a few weeks ago on her M37. Touch up paint from the dealer was about 24 bucks and it did a decent job.

It's down low, Just get some touch up paint in a bottle at the dealer $15 bucks maybe if that.

YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW A ALITTLE TOUCH UP IN A BOTTLE MAKES IT LOOK.
If you dont like the way it looks then get it done at a shop.
