Exclamation Int. cleaner/protector?

My G is just a month old. I had the dealer put the "touch of class" interior protection package on it. What I want to know is, do I still use leather conditioners, Armorall et.al. on the interior?

well I don't know what that package is but yes continue to add to what they have done already because no treatment lasts forever.

Armorall will actually dry out the leather and plastic trim pieces. Pick up a good leather cleaner and conditioner such as Lexol, Zymol, Zaino, etc and use the conditioner regularly.

i'd ask the dealer exactly what products are used in that protection package so you can decide what stuff to buy for regular cleaning and maintenance. then you can come back to the forum and see what people can suggest that will compliment what the dealer has already done. for the interior, it seems a lot of people use zaino, this stuff called aerospace 303, or lexol. good luck!

They sell Lexol conditioner and cleaner at Pep Boys for about $9 each. Does anyone know the best place to buy aerospace 303? Know any online sites? Thanks

Go to the aerospace 303 website to find locations to buy it. I bought it at Ace Hardware for ~$13. I put it on all the plastic and vinyl surfaces. They say it like SPF for your car.

BTW, make sure to put them on the tops/backs of the headrests, where they are constantly in the sun. Only time will tell if it works or not. My rear headrests in my 96 accord are very faded. I put the 303 on, hopefully it will keep it from getting worse.
