My G had a ton of fallout on it so I did a fallout removal today and it worked great. I’ll share the process for anyone else who wants to do it
First off wash the car, and get it at least mostly dry, this should obviously be done in the shade. Get some iron-x fallout remover (it stinks), Auto Glym Magma, or something similar. I used Iron-X low odour, and it wasn’t too bad.
To do this you spray it in the car and wait a few minutes, then agitate a bit with a wash mitt or sponge, note that it will react with the fallout so you can see it work, pretty cool. Just don’t let it dry in the finish, which is why you do it in the shade. I did mine in sections, and even then some started to dry since the sun just went down, and the paint was still hot.
I’ve attached some pics of before (after a wash), after a quick spray, after agitating, and after rinsing and air drying (needs a very good rinse because the product will hide in crevices and keep dripping). Afterwards I did a good rinse of the driveway After a wash and overnight air dry Working… Quick wipe with a mitt After a thorough rinse
Pretty funny but it actually seemed to remove quite a bit of the rust I had on a chip, lol…..I wonder how many applications it would take to really help.
