how to keep california duster from leaving wax

i bought a california duster and it works great, but it is leaving these weird little waxy streaks on my car that totally ruin the cleanness. i tried leaving the duster out in the sun on newspaper but it wasnt that hot and that still didnt fix the streak problem. do i need to leave it out on a hotter day or is there something else i can do to fix this problem?

Did you follow the instructions and let it sit on newspaper for 5-6 hrs (??) before using it the first time?

Are you using it on a cool- to-the-touch surface or is the surface hot (maybe just after driving)?

i have let it sit in the sun on newspaper in my driveway all day twice, i wiped it off this morning with the duster so i know my car was cool cuz it was like 58 degrees and i got horrible streaks all over. i guess it just hasnt been hot enough for the duster in the driveway yet cuz i heard that excess wax or something has to melt off.
