Interior Dust!!!

Hi guys, I have a graphie interior, and I get an enormous amount of dust build up around the temperature/compass display area... also my nav screen gets REALLY dusty .. is there any sort of solution that you guys go through to slow down the dust build up? Is there a product I can apply? ( I think I read this somewhere).... also how do you guys dust the car? w/ a regular feather duster?

And what do you guys use to clean the navi screen? So sorry, kinda went freestyle on the questions there

THANKS in advance.

Dennis - try using the small hand swiffer dusters, they work pretty good for in between major cleaning on your interior. I use a different one for quickly removing loose brake dust on your front rims cause it will fit in all the nooks and crannys.

Wayne,

Haha, now there's a coincidence, after our talk and your demo yesterday.

I'm getting a swiffer kit from CTC for quick tidy-ups on the wheels and dash areas. (separate swiffers of course. )

Maybe in conjunction with dust repellant, it'll keep the dust issue under control.

Wolfster, what dust repellent do you use? any suggestions?
TNX guys,
C.

Colin,
I thought you M didn't have a brake dust issue? Did it start after some miles?

Swifters are great I love them around the house, even though i don't dust much, just the TV and computer. I haven't used a swifter on the inside of the car yet. I prefer to clean with 303 Cleaner and protect it form UV rays with the 303 protectant as well . 303 makes high powered cleaners that are always safe to use on your Bimmer. For plastic the absolute best product I've seen is Plexus cleans, shines, protects and the best part is the anti-static properties http://secure.detailedimage.com/Merc...y_Code=Plastic. It repells the dust and I can't find anything that keeps it away longer.

I just got my car last week and have ordered a california duster for the outside. They do a small "dash duster" version for around $10 so I ordered that too. I havent received it yet so I don't know how good it will be.

The caliduster I hear great things about, however, at one meeting with a detailing shop, a person told me that it will exventually cause a lot of scratching to the clearcoat. Any evidence of this?
