I noticed that this weatherstrip lining feels like velvet. I have developed lots of white fuzzies on it. What's the best way to clean it?

I have the same problem, correct me if I'm wrong, but do you mean the area is getting a bit CRUSTY and looks "WORN"?

Nope, it's just got a bunch of white fuzzies on it from my wash mitt. The lining is some sort of fabric...feels like velvet.

I have never tried it myself, but I think I remember someone saying that you can sand old weathered "hard plastic". This may work for the problem you describe (I would use like 2000 grit - be sure not to hit the glass or paint, you may want to mask off those areas!). If you don't want to do that, you can try masking tape to get the fuzzies off!

If your trims is dull, faded, got wax build up etc, I highly recomend http://secure.detailedimage.com/Merc...ory_Code=Vinyl. It gives it that new look and stays on there for extra long. Not sure if it removes white fuzzies though, lol.
