Effective Car Wash

Hey, I'm real new to carwashing and i got my G a couple of days ago. I bought some armor-all cleaning fluid at discount auto parts yesterday. How could i effectively clean the G making it look nice without buying a lot of things. Please help, I don't want to ruin the car. Thanks.

Re: Effective Car Wash

Be sure to check out the Car Detailing Tips by Brad thread - that's where I got most of the good info on keeping the G beautiful. Personally, I bought Mother's car wash (won't strip wax), Meguire's Gold for Clear Coats wax (goes on and comes off easy), Aerospace 303 for the plastic, vinyl, and rubber, and Lexol Leather Cleaner and Leather Conditioner for the seats. I use Mother's Show Car Detail spray every few days to take off the road grime and keep it looking nice. I wash every 2 weeks. I treat the vinyl, plastic, and rubber every 4 weeks, and I wax every 4-6 weeks. The car always looks great! Be sure to invest in some nice utensils as well - decent sponges, chamois, and soft terry cloth towels. They make everything easier.
