...and what of the people who have cats that sleep in the garage (ie. me)? We've got two older "outdoor" cats who roam our property during the day, however they sleep in the garage as, well, they're essentially barn cats with champagne tastes. Now, my parents are content for them to sleep in the garage as they jump up on my G instead of their cars, however I just dropped off a check for my mom's FX45 today- let's see how comfortable she is letting them sleep on HER car for a while. The cats are as good as gone.

What cracks me up is that the dude's name is Armalite and he's worried about cruelty to cats with a shotgun!

This is from Dave "The Garden Guy" Owens website gardenguy.com. A simple spray I use underneath and around my car. It stopped the neighborhood strays from using my G35 as a hangout spot. No shotgun required!

Here's the recipe...

CAT-AWAY SOLUTION:

• 2 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
• 3 Tbsp. powdered mustard
• 5 Tbsp. plain flour
• 1 large bowl
• 2 quarts water
• 1 funnel
• 1 plastic spray bottle

Mix dry ingredients in bowl; add water. Pour mixture through the funnel into the plastic spray bottle. Spray mixture where you want cats not to tread.
