I am planning to tint my windows on my sedan. The shop that will be doning the job has 2 kinds of tint materials. Llummar and Rayban. Apparrently , the same company but Rayban is better quality.

Has anyone put this film on their car ? If so, how good is it ?

 

Never used Llummar or Rayban.. but do you know if they are metallic or dye-based tints?

The tint is not actually made by Rayban, but they call it Rayban tint because its tint properties resemble the shade color of Rayban sunglasses. The brand is called Autolux, and I believe it is made by the same company as Madico. It is a higher quality tint because the material used has some metallic particles and is not dye based.

I still have not got my tint done on my car yet, but will soon. There is a long waiting list from my tint guy. I am waiting patiently for only this guy because he is a very skilled and experienced windows tinter. I have seen his work and heard from others about his quality of work. I do not want just any "joe" to tint my G. I'll post before and after pictures.
