rubber door stripping

This is a stupid question but...should I be treating the rubber strips on the
inside of the door (the ones that give the door an airtight seal when closed)?
I'm not sure whether to treat the whole thing, just the parts that are
exposed to the sun, or if I should do it at all - any help appreciated.

Re: rubber door stripping

Do the whole thing. Every time you open the door the rest of the weatherstripping gets UV exposure.
