Changing COLOR??

Re: Changing COLOR??
it depends, i was quoted on my old car (thunderbird) $4000 for a color change which they would paint everything all the door jams under the trunk and even the engine bay, they also take all the panels off, personally i would not do it if i were you, nothing is as good as the origional factory pain't job. it may be cheaper to trade yours in and get a new black one.

I agree with Ant...factory paint is always the best and you shouldn't really be changing to a color that the car is actually available in. I mean it might make sense if you wanted say a metallic blue or something but painting it black over factory paint? Just don't make any sense.

Re: Changing COLOR??
don't change the color unless you're thinking of keeping this car till it dies or u don't care how much it depreciates....if you don't want to lose too much value, paint it inside and out.. i.e. door jams, underneath the hood, etc...
for a good paint job, you're gonna pay at least 800 - 1000, maybe more. be careful of cheap prices, cuz the quality might reflect the price. definitely DO NOT go to maaco. they suck.

Re: Changing COLOR??
Painting a brand new car that has no problems, doesn't make sense to me. Why didn't you just get a Black G35?
Saw a brand new yellow Type R changed to silver, waddda guy.
