What's the best towel to use when drying your car?
#16
Just so people are clear (and have a place to buy) the best "blue waffle" is the Sonus Der Wunder Microfiber Drying Towel It is also very fun when your working with your friends to attach "Der Wunder" to everything you say. Ex. "You see the way that girl just looked at my car? I think she wants Der Wunder dic*"

I'm going to stray from the pack... ...yet stick to my usual suggestion:
I have yet to have any problems with GOOD towels (100% USA Grown Cotton & 100% Made In The USA). Got them at Bed, Bath & Beyond. The brand is Wamsutta, but be sure to avoid another line under that brand (I believe it's their top-of-the-line product) that they offer in Egyptian Cotton (made in Pakistan), as those will F your finish up! Seems like the good towels were 2nd to the top, in terms of quality and price. YOU WILL feel the difference with your hand as you browse the shelves of towels.
Can't recall what I paid for each, but they were nice towels. I use a "bath sheet" for drying, as they're bigger than bath towels. Not a single swirl/scratch from them so far, and they are thirsty boogers too! While one can certainly absord all the water, I use two simply to speed the drying process. One wipe is all it takes when the towels are really dry.
I'm using these for removal of Zaino anyway, so why not use them for drying? If a bath sheet or two isn't enough to remove all the water, then you probably need to get in out of the rain.
CUT OFF THOSE DECORATIVE STRIPS/BORDERS!

I have the absorber, a chamois, and the california water blade. Although the absorber is okay, it still leaves water after you wipe. I just use the california water blade to get all the excess water off, then use a 100% white cotton towel to wipe all the excess water off. Works well for me.. oh and the chamois that I bought from Pep Boys sucks and was a waste of 10 dollars.. I would like to get a leaf blower though to dry the car. I always seem to have excess water dripping from the mirror after I finish washing the car so I usually leave a nano wipe wrapped around the neck of the mirror so that it soaks all the excess water.
