Where do you wax your car?

I want to wax my new G and I know it is bad to wax in the sun. However there is no shade near my house and I don't have a garage I can wax the G in. For the life of me I cannot think of where to wax the car. What do those of you who are in a similar situation do? I know I can't be the only guy without a garage.

Go to a coin operated wash place when it isn't busy and sit underneath their parking garage structure in one of the empty bays?

Wash and wax your car on a cloudy day. Or get up really early and do it while there's some light out. Most of the time you'll have 1-1.5 hours before the sun heats up your paint and you can have 1 coat of wax on.

Get a wax that is sun-friendly. Poorboy's Natty's wax is good, so is Clearkote VM.

You should be okay in the early morning, evening, or on cloudy days. The real problem is when you have a darker car, especially black. NEVER wax your Black car on a hot, sunny day!

like everyone else mentioned. if going to a friend's house who owns a garage is too much of a hassle ( bringing all the wax, cleaners, etc ) then wake up a bit early on the weekends, around 7-8. or wait till later in the afternoon 4-5. to start waxing. but dont every trying washing your car in the hot sun. its horrible.!
