Headlight Detailing

hey guys ive just found out that i have some greasy stain on one of my headlgihts. ive constantly used "invinsible glass (a product like windex)" but it wont go away at all. In the end i just ended up using my car wax product, it did make it better.

the real question is whats best to get rid of grease, swirls, dirt on headlights?

Mequires also makes a similar product. I am not usually a fan of Megs products but the Scratch X i think its called, is pretty good. I have also wet sanded the headlamp for another reason so if the scratch X or plastic polish doesn't work, I would move up to a courser compound and if that doesn't work, use wet sanding with 2K grit as a last resort. Always remeber that once you find the polish with the correct bite, you will have to repeat with compounds/polishes of finer and finer grits until its perfectly smooth and clean!

PlasticX is slightly more abrasive than ScratchX, if the ScratchX doesn't do it for you.
