ClearBra

What are the negatives of getting a clearbra on my black G35 coupe, when you detail the car do you put wax on the clearbra or do you not detail the part with the clearbra? Do you think its worth getting? I just use my car to drive from home to school and to work, so im mustly on the freeway but not for long. And how much do they usually cost to get installed? Can you see the clearbra on a black car?

Besides being slightly more visible, none in my opinion. Clearbra was one of the very first things I did to my 05 DG coupe. And let me tell ya, its well worth the $620. I drive mainly on the highways back and forth to work and it has saved the front from total abuse. Once you have it on, you treat it like you do with the paint. Wash and wax it! That's all to it.

a clear bra is the best mod i have done to my car .........so many rock chips before......none now! i wish i would have installed the bra sooner! cost $500 installed.........the only negative i have is when i apply wax (zaino in my case) gets stuck on the edge of the bra........sort of a pain, but i have learned when applying the zaino to always move the applicator away from the edge which minimizes the buildup on the edge, but i still have to clean it........i use a tooth pick and run along the edge then use a micro towel and my finger nails to clean the rest of the excess........

The previous owner of my black coupe had a clear bra installed... the edge is very visible only from a certain angle, and probably because he didn't take care of the edge after detailing. From every other angle, you can't even tell it's there.
