Fixing my CF hood

hey guys, I need MAAAAAD help. Ok I have a CF hood and its starting to fade. I know the best solution is buy a new one BUT I wanna work on this one cause there is hope. The clear coat on it right now is off and it white milky spots are being left on the hood. It looks BEAUTIFUL right after a car wash when its still wet but when ist dry its NASSSTY! Anyway if anyone knows a good cheap body shop(no more than $100) in S. Cal that can fix it for me or if anyone has the same problem, please let me know what you did. Ive used a few diff waxes and crap but nothing works. Thanks in advanced guys

Waxes will only dry it out faster. Try to use WD40 or something to get it lubed up... Eventually you will have to pay some $$ for a new clear coat.

Got any pics of the damage? I'd like to see how it has no clear coat. CF hoods are prone to oxidation and I've seen a few that were restored with just using a polishing compound, followed by some finer polishes. If you can take a pic that would be helpful or if you have time, I'm in costa Mesa and we could meet up to take a look.
