zaino on my dg coupe is weak
well, after busting my *** washing, claybarring, then washing again, then using z5,z6,z2,z6,z2,z6. I was expecting some crazy shine and depth, but i am not impressed to say the least. Is is because my car is dg? i kno black looks amazing with zaino but is it posible for dg to look amazing with zaino? I am disappointed, and i think i would have had better results with something else maybe.

I thought the same exact thing with my black coupe. I seriously busted my *** for 8 hours straight. I looked at the car and i was like, damn.. the shine isnt all that great, i could get the same shine with one coat of NXT.
But after a few weeks, i realized how long it lasted, and i began to notice the glossy paint. i kept applying one coat each week, and everytime it got easier and easier to apply, and the paint got shinier and glossier. i got compliments from EVERYBODY.. thats when i fully appreciated it. give it some time, trust me.. i went from being on the verge of throwing out each bottle i bought, to this.

I use Zaino on my DG coupe as well and IMO it looks great after I wash/wax/polish. My friends are always giving props.

It's all about prep. If the paint is smooth, clean, and glossy without an LSP it usually doesn't matter which LSP you use, they all look good. Prep is 90% of the work - a car with swirls, scratches, oxidation, grime, road debris etc... will look bad no matter what wax/sealant you use. (Unless you use one with fillers, which NXT has)
In this case I'll assume your paint is in good shape. If you don't like the look of Zaino I'd recommend trying a carnauba wax. On dark metallics I like Poorboys Natty's Blue or Clearkotes Carnauba Wax.
Cheers.
(OT: Zaino isn't crap. I don't particularly like it but it has some of the best durabilty in the industry. Whether you like the look or not that is a fact. NXT, has mediocre durabilty (6-8 weeks), and a large part of why it looks so good is because it has fillers, so even cars with swirls end up looking good for a few weeks because it fills them in until it washes away. Not that that is a bad thing...that's just not the way most waxes/sealants work.)
