Dupli-color Shield spray-on protection

Anybody tried this? It won a Popular Mechanics Magazine award for its ability to protect against bugs splats and some rock chips.

Dupli-Color
Shield - Temporary Spray-On Bra Protection
Provides temporary spray-on protection for your vehicle where bugs and road grime can do damage.

Ideal for front end, rear quarter panel and rocker panels. Sprays on easily, dries in less than a minute.

Won't wash off in the rain, comes off easily with soap, water and sponge or power wash it off. Leaves no residue on a vehicle's surface.

Never heard of it but sounds like a great idea for long road trips or track days.

We use it at the track. It works pretty well but forms a NASTY goo when you are washing it off. It is nothing too bad, but something to be aware of.
