Car under 5k miles, safe to wax?

Here she is:

Oh, btw, what color would this be called? It's an '05 X

What would be a recommended wax for this particular color? Any recommendation on those Wax as you dry? I have used Eagle One on my car, you can wax it on dry/wet. I want my moms car to be nice.

Not sure of the exact color name but its safe to seal/wax now. Very nice pick up hopefully you'll get to take it out if you take care of it. I think most people would agree your far better off picking up a sealant instead of a wax. Sealants are syntehtic waxes that last longer. My personal favorite is the Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket (FMJ) applies so slick and easy, removes so easy, shines amazing, protects extra long. I can't say enough about it, some other great sealants are the Klasse AIO and HGSG, Poorboy's World EX. These are all fantastic in there own regard but again I would get a sealant instead of a wax. Additionally sealants use far less product then waxes typically. With the FMJ and AIO I use less than one ounce per coat so they wind up being a great value as well. Let me know if you have more questions I can talk about this stuff all day.

Modern paint is baked at the factory, it's safe to seal/wax the day it leaves the line. I think the color is silverstone or brilliant silver, not sure.

As for what sealant/wax to use, odds are you can find something that'll work over the counter if you don't want to shop online (although Punchits recommendations are good ones). Meg's NXT, Mothers Gold Class, even Eagle WAUD (which you mention having used) - they should all look good.

I waxed my car after the first week. I really like the Klasse twins, followed up with monthly apps of P21s carnuba wax.
