303 Aerospace Protectant vs Lexol Vinylex

Are they similar in nature? If yes, which is better?

If they're different, how? Is one a cleaner & other a finisher?

Thanks!

I can only provide feedback on the 303 since I have never tried the Vinylx. I love the 303, although it is a bit pricey. In addition to the protection it offers, it also leaves a low gloss sheen which is better for dashboards and it repels dust. Yes it will get dusty but not nearly as bad as an armorall. Secondly, I am pretty certain that 303 actually nourishes the vinyl etc as opposed to Armorall which can dry it out over time.

Right on, I've used both and I definately like the 303 Protectant a lot better. They are very similar but a little too much shine and residue left behind. The 303 does actually help nourish the surface and will really keep the surface fresh looking. The Vinylex is nice but I do prefer the 303 hands down.

Thanks to you both.

I kept my truck clean, but I'm really starting to feel detailing this ride.
I'd never imagine my self purchasing such specialty products. I used to just wipe off the wheels, spray tire foam and use the wipe trio... armorall glass, original and leather. I can totally tell the diff from armorall vs Vinylex. Can't wait to check out the 303.

Now... I've got the Lexol bundle, many micro fiber towels, Rain-x, tire gel, quick detailing spray (under-rated) and will be picking up some wheel wax for the weekend.

Next I'll pick a sealant & finishing product. I'm going to pick one that does not require a PC.

I bought a Hot Tub under a year ago for my back yard and most Tub Hot dealers in the area sold 303 at their dealerships. It is the best treatment for the vinyl insulation cover over a hot tub. These covers take a beating from direct sunlight and 303 protects the best. So I already had the product before purchasing my G. Call around to local Hot Tub dealers for this product.

Funny you mention hot-tubs- same applies to all kayak/canoe retailers-303 is like kleenex and bandaids- synonymous with UV protection.

As for 303 retailers, go to the website-google aerospace 303, find the site, and check for retailers- they have it on their site. In Canada: Zellers, Van and Truck World, MEC, etc- too many to list.

Cheers,
D
