I got bombed!

I walk out of work and I find my car like this (it was parked under a big tree). I counted 23 hits, the picture is crappy cause its my camera phone but you can see the damage. How do 23 birds gang up on one target like that? Or maybe it was just one REALLY sick bird.

Parking under a tree is not a good idea, besides all the birds ganging up on your car...treesap can get on the paint too.

Does bird crap damage the paint? I washed it off, but just curious.

If you leave the bird crap on the car for a while, yes it can damage your clear coat. That's why I always have a spray bottle of QD in my trunk for when I get bombed.

I had 1 bird crap on my clear bra and washed it when I got home ( it took me 30 min to get home ), and I guess because of the heat and the fact that the crap was on my clearbra, it left a hazy mark. Now I have to replace my whole clearbra because on a Black car, you can see everything.

I'll do it bro. No worries.

Yeah that bird sh*t can do some real damage depending on what the bird ate and how long you leave it on.
Best get it off ASAP and not park under any trees.
Q-Detailer is good like Ksig113 said, (if it's still wet), and a hose and soap if it's already dried.

Even though you washed it off, you may find that you have spots left that look like hard water spots. If this is the case, get to polishing. These will only get worse as they are allowed to bake in. The composition of the bird waste (look at me, so mature) will make a notable difference but more importantly the surface of your car matters. Cars with softer clearcoats will see more damage. Infinitis are, as you know, ridiculously soft.

Just to be safe, I would take a good look at the area and make sure that there are no signs of the attack before going much further.

good luck with your clear coat. I guarantee that your hood suffered dearly for that. 15 minutes on the sun is all birdcrap needs to fuxup your paint.

Had some birds bomb my Vette and it left etch marks in the paint. Guys suggested I wait a week before buffing and believe it or not the etch marks disappeared by themselves. Not sure if the paint on the G35 will do the same thing but it really can't hurt to see.
