Zaino and CG prevents scratching, etc

Re: Zaino and CG prevents scratching, etc
Zaino will repel dust like a fiend. It's MUCH better than CG in that regard. CG is much harder when it cures, and thus provides better protection against scratches. I just ran a test with it last night, in fact, where I got a friend to volunteer his beater and used a nail on: dry paint, waxed w/ Zymol paint, and CG'ed paint. The only one that didn't scratch with a drag of a nail was the CG. It's about 8x harder than conventional waxes, so... that's what they say, but even if you don't believe them and cut their #s in half, it's still 4x harder. I just use a Cali duster to get the dust that settles off.
I've got a gravel driveway, so I wouldn't think of using anything but CG, but if you're staying on paved roads and aren't encountering gravel trucks left and right, it'd be a toss-up, because I love the Zaino shine and anti-static qualities.
Other opinions?

i disagree Geo, Zaino is known to attract dust... i've seen it reviewed VS. Klasse on an SUV desert trip.
The difference was incredible. Zaino=lots of dust.
You are right though, Cali duster is the way to go...

Interesting. Are you talking about the black M-class someone took into the desert? I guess I just think Zaino repels it because a) everyone who hates CG uses that as their argument, b) compared to CG (high static charge), it does. My driveway is gravel, which SUCKS, so I end up with a fine film on my bumper every time I go in or out. That's why my Cali duster's in my trunk.

You know what though, i get a fine layer of dust as well, but thats only when i park in my Detroit office.
If i dont go to that office for a week, there is very little dust... hmm

One important thing to note is that I do get some dust, even with Zaino. I notice a thin coat after leaving the car in the parking lot during the day. However, the dust just disappears on my way home. It doesn't even stick to the car, and magically disappears while driving the G. Love Zaino, especially the smell of Z6!
